A Focal-Point
The S42 is a wider version of the S36 and can provide more heat if needed to respond judiciously to more spacious spaces. Thanks to its large glass surface, this model offers a magnificent vision of the flames. As the pan burner disperses gas, the flames seem to move in a “fluid” motion. The realistic log set accentuated with glowing embers magically provides the experience of a real wood fire without the hassle. The narrow depth (17 7/8″) simplifies installation for new construction or your renovation project.
Make it Your Own
As you look through the safety invimesh, you must embellish the back wall of your fireplace with optional decorative panels, wood logs and lava rocks. Chose black steel for a subtle look; black reflective glass which will “mirror” some of the flame back at you; rustic or Herringbone brick panels for a more traditional look. Optional finishing trim available in two sizes, ensures a flawless finish around the edge of your fireplace. Those who want more heat can also opt for the addition of a variable speed blower.
Fitted with a ceramic glass which provides better heat transfer, the S42 is also equipped with a multi-functional remote control which provides intermittent or permanent pilot option, flame height and speed of the optional blower adjustment.
Available in natural gas (FG00004) or propane (FG00040) versions.
